I ordered this because of the neutral colour and the pleasant design. It's not HEAVY, but it's definitely thicker than a plain old blanket, and even out of the packaging, it was soft to the touch. It'll only get softer with washing. We have a split king adjustable bed, so having the sides be longer than normal is a definite plus. I would seriously recommend this bedspread to anyone. I read a review on this and the product details described this as 128 X 122 which was the size I needed. I also ordered 2 kingsize shams just to be safe. Order arrived promptly, I opened only to find that the product label read 120 X 120. I opened and put on the bed anyway and it fit! Trusting the info that this spread washed well and became softer, I chose to launder, cold water, lowest dryer temp and was horrified to find that although the length did not appear to shrink, the width lost about 7" and no longer touched the floor. I'm very disappointed as I did like the spread, the design is lovely even though the corners are not rounded. I've tried steaming and stretching which helped a bit but not enough.
