I have standard size mattresses and a plain small steel bed frame so those factors are not the reasons for the poor fit. The price was too good to be true. It is 100% cotton and it would have certainly shrunk some and been worse. I returned it. This morning while making the bed, I shook the spread a little and a cloud of fine dust particles shook loose. I took it outside and shook it some more and got more clouds of fine white dust particles. That explains my itchy eyes for the past week. It's back in the washer and I will keep washing it until it stops shedding or there is nothing left to it. I have been looking for over two years for a bedspread that would fit just right and after several unsatisfactory buys this one is perfect.It is 100% cotton. It looks nice, feels nice and washed up very well. I am very happy with my order and compared to others I have bought the price was good. I am thinking about ordering another so I have a spare one for my bed. |
